For this year's festival, we are delighted to announce that Edinburgh's famous Mosque Kitchen is expanding its operation to serve visitors to the Pleasnace Dome. This will be open fully to the public from Friday 3 - Monday 27 August, located in the Bar at the Dome, on Bristo Square.
We have no plans to operate a Food Market this year, for many reasons. Principally, it is because I'm about to have a kidney transplant, and am therefore not available for the rest of August. If all goes well with that, we should be back in the future.
In the meantime, you might like to visit the Foodies at the Festival event which Sue Hitchens and her team have put together at the Roxburgh Hotel, Charlotte Square on 18 & 19 August.
There are many other great places to eat and drink, and buy great food in Edinburgh, both during the festival, and all year round. Here are some of my favourites: (will add links very soon)
